The named Nasdara animals are mouflon, two dog breeds, a desert monitor, and two fish. The dogs are not companions.
Do not tame
Dobermann and German Shepherd dogs cannot be tamed or kept.
Dobermann, also written Doberman, has four variants. German shepherds have four variants too. Neither breed has a tame action.

What the changelog adds with them
Mouflon comes with a pelt. The desert monitor comes with meat and skin. Round goby and catfish are named, with no weight. No trophy scores or spawn circles have been announced.
German shepherds are also four variants, and they cannot be tamed either. Packs of both breeds are tied to military zones. Nothing describes armored dogs, so that search does not match a variant you can find.
How this list relates to the map
These animals belong to Nasdara. A wide shot of a large lizard on theNasdara pageis the province, not a labeled portrait of the desert monitor.
Heat and sand are a separate problem from hunting. Thesickness notescover irritated eyes after a sandstorm.
Animals the 1.30 notes actually name
The mouflon is a Nasdara animal, and it yields a pelt. The desert monitor is the new lizard, the first territorial animal in this set, and it yields meat and skin. Round goby and catfish are named fish. No weights, trophy scores, or spawn circles have been announced for them. A pelt, a skin, or a fish name is the loot. There is no trophy score to chase and no marked spawn circle to camp.
Dogs are the other half of the list. German shepherds have four variants. Neither dog can be tamed or kept as a companion. Four variants do not add a tame command. Packs stay with military zones.

The well still and the lizard still
The picture here is a brick well, boarded up. It is not a portrait of any animal. Use it as a picture of Nasdara building, and use the list above when you need a pelt, a skin, or a fish name.
A different picture, on the Nasdara page, shows a large lizard on open ground. The desert monitor is the named lizard, territorial, with meat and skin. Do not treat every lizard-shaped image as a labeled monitor spawn.
Fish and the mouflon are animals, not a cooking guide. Meat, skin, and pelt are the items on the monitor and the mouflon. The fish stop at the names. No filet yield has been announced.
Where these names sit in the patch
These animals are part of the Nasdara side of 1. 30, alongside the terrain and the rebuildable houses. The bikes and some firearm reskins can show up off the province. A mouflon pelt is not one of those shared base-game lines.
Update 1. 29 on 15 July 2026 already added the SCR-17 and Nasdara convoys on Chernarus and Livonia. That update did not add the monitor, the mouflon, or the two fish. A 1. 29 server is not where you should expect a 1. 30 pelt.
If you are sick after a sandstorm, the animal list will not help. Irritated eyes, heatstroke, and silicosis are the illnesses, also written Sillicosis and Heat Stroke. Rinse sand from your eyes with water.
